Biography

Kim serves up a platter of Jazz & Blues desserts with sweet sassy and soulful sounds. She can Diva Dish it with "Better Than Love", Delta Blues it in "Come On Into My Kitchen", take you to church with a "Closer Walk With Thee" and rock you with Led Zepplin's "Whole Lotta Love."

She is proud to have shared the stage with the St. Louis Blues Greats of Oliver Sain, Johnny Johnson, Bennie Smith and Grammy Rock star, Cindy Lauper.

In '06 Kim opened for Grammy winner, India Arie. A gifted vocalist, musical actress and corporate commercial artist, Kim has won numerous St. Louis musical awards and acclaim including "Ain't Nothing But the Blues" and "Damn Yankees". Her touring includes Hungary, the US between the West Coast and Midwest.

Her discs include her Live Jazz, Blues & R&B performance @ The St Louis Jazz @ The Bistro, voted Top 10 US Jazz Club by Wynton Marsalis and her Live Tribute to Aretha Franklin, "Kim Massie Sings Aretha" followed by her Blues and Gospel '07 release " Lady By Choice". Fans love Kim-she makes them laugh , cry, reminisce and scream while she grabs, hugs and captures the rythms of your heart.
